Seringa believes its success should benefit the people around it. That commitment brings together local families, teachers, farmers and visiting volunteers at Skuinskloof Primary School.
About 50students when Seringa became involved

More room to learn. More children able to get there.
When Seringa became involved, three teachers taught eight grades in three classrooms. Transport was limited, and a volunteer parent cooked outdoors. For many children, the school meal was their only meal of the day.
With sustained support, the school has grown to include teachers and classrooms for every grade, improved washrooms, teacher housing and expanded bus transport. An indoor kitchen and dining room now serve more than 400 students, with local farmers contributing food.
